VALORANT players have found a way to effectively utilize Sova’s Shock Bolts from Ascent’s B lobby area.

Sova is one of the most picked agents in both casual & competitive scenes of VALORANT. While his abilities are pretty deadly, Sova grandmasters never failed to impress the community with even more fatal tricks. The Russian Initiator agent has an arsenal of long-range armaments, including the Shock Bolt. It’s inexpensive & surprisingly effective in any given situation.
B Lobby to B Default Shock Bolt Lineup
A recently posted video by tolosthesecond showed us how Shock Bolts can be more than effective in post-plant scenarios. This particular lineup could deliver a massive blow to an unsuspecting opponent. If executed perfectly, both Shock Bolts will land simultaneously in the B Default location, which will prevent any defuse attempts made by the defenders.
In order to initiate the procedure, it’s necessary to relocate yourself to the “ Ticket Booth ” area. As demonstrated in the video, the first Shock Bolt will bounce off from the Fish-market’s Tower while the second one will zero in from B Backside. Ultimately, the entire method is time-sensitive; any delays during the execution will hamper its effectiveness.

It’s not unusual for enemies to flank the B lobby area in post-plant scenarios, mainly when proper Mid-control isn’t ensured during the round; being vigilant of this threat will be beneficial. Adequate communication with your teammate will be required when performing the execution. Once the Shock Bolts have landed, make sure to reinforce the B site since the Bolts are not likely to eliminate multiple defenders.
