VALORANT’s upcoming Night Market apparently has a new background and it’s teasing the new unreleased underwater map.
VALORANT is a free-to-play first-person hero shooter developed and published by Riot Games. It was first released back in June of 2020. In the beginning, it had 4 maps: Haven, Bind, Split, and Ascent. In the first year of VALORANT, we got two new maps, Icebox and Breeze. So that means Riot is planning to release a new map every 6 months.
Continuing with this trend, Riot Games released the map Fracture during Episode 3, Act 2. It’s been more than 6 months since its release, so we are definitely due a new map in VALORANT. Riot Games usually teases new maps in the Battle Pass player cards. According to the VALORANT community, Riot has already teased the new map, and it’s apparently going to be an underwater map.
In the current Episode 4 Act 3 Battle Pass, we have a player card that shows a tram going through an underwater area. Because of this, many believe that the next VALORANT map will be in an aquatic setting.
And, now a recently leaked Night Market background is apparently pointing to the next Underwater map teaser.

Just now, we got leaks that the upcoming May Night Market might get a new background. The background seems to be underwater as we can see light rays similarly reflecting when underwater. Floxay on Twitter thinks that this new background might be teasing the new underwater map.
Hopefully, we will get some official teasers from Riot Games soon regarding the new underwater map.
