The Old West is apparently getting a sequel. A fresh leak points to Neo Frontier 2.0 landing in VALORANT, and it looks like it will be a smaller package than the original.
What Is the VALORANT Neo Frontier 2.0 Skin Bundle?
Neo Frontier is one of the more memorable skinlines Riot has put out. It launched back in Episode 7 Act 1 as an Exclusive tier collection built around a neat gimmick where the guns started as Old West iron at Level 1 and transformed into sci-fi hardware by Level 3. It also introduced the reactive gun buddy that displayed the match’s top fragger, which was a first for the game.
A sequel has been rumored for a while, and the latest leak suggests it is closer than people thought.
Neo Frontier 2.0 Leak: What Is Reportedly in the Bundle
According to the leak, Neo Frontier 2.0 is a compact collection:
- 2 gun skins
- 1 melee skin
And that is it on the weapon side, at least as far as the current information goes. Which weapons are getting skins has not been shared yet, so the usual suspects like Vandal, Phantom, Sheriff, and Operator are all still on the table.
Worth remembering that the original bundle covered the Phantom, Odin, Marshal, Sheriff, and an axe melee. If Riot is only doing two guns this time, expect the sequel to fill gaps the first one missed rather than repeat the same weapons. A Vandal in this skinline is the one most players are hoping for, since the original skipped it entirely.
Neo Frontier 2.0 Price: What to Expect
Riot has not confirmed pricing, and the leak did not include a number. Still, VALORANT bundles follow predictable tiers, so here is the math you can work with.
- Premium tier: 1,775 VP per gun, 3,550 VP for melee
- Exclusive tier: 2,175 VP per gun, 4,350 VP for melee
- Ultra tier: 2,675 VP per gun, 5,350 VP for melee
The original Neo Frontier was Exclusive tier and cost 8,700 VP for five weapons. With only two guns and a melee, a sequel at the same tier would realistically sit somewhere in the 5,000 to 6,000 VP range once accessories are folded in. Treat that as an educated guess and nothing more.
Neo Frontier 2.0 Release Date
No release date has surfaced yet. Riot typically rotates a new premium bundle into the store every few weeks alongside patch cycles, so the most likely window is an upcoming patch rather than something months away. Bundles usually stay in the shop for around two weeks before rotating out.
Keep in mind this is all leaked information and none of it comes from Riot. Datamined bundles have changed weapons, tiers, and even names before shipping. If you are sitting on VP right now, holding some back is not a bad idea, but do not plan your entire wallet around a bundle that has not been officially teased yet.
