Riot has not officially announced KURONAMI 2.0 yet, but multiple leak posts tied to the current wave of VALORANT cosmetic rumors point to a follow-up bundle built around the Kuronami theme. The reported weapon lineup includes the Ghost, Phantom, Guardian, Operator, and a new Naru-Kami melee, while leakers also claim the bundle will ship with upgrades and variants.

KURONAMI 2.0 first look

As of writing, we don’t have the actual reveal poster for this new skin line, but based on the original KURONAMI bundle, we can deduce what the new skin line will look and feel like. KURONAMI 2.0 will probably feature a slick storm ninja identity.

The weapons will have sharp, angular frames with glowing blue energy running through the body, while the silver and black shells give them a high-tech but still mythic feel. The whole set will look soaked in rain, with streaking water in the background and bright electric highlights that will make the skin feel fast, clean, and expensive.

The melee skin for this line has not been revealed yet.

What weapons are included in the bundle

According to the current leak roundup, KURONAMI 2.0 is expected to include five weapons. Those are the Ghost, Phantom, Guardian, Operator, and Naru-Kami melee. The same leak trail also says the bundle has upgrades and color variants, which would line up with how Riot handled the original Kuronami collection.

That weapon spread also makes a lot of sense for a 2.0 line. The original Kuronami bundle launched as part of VALORANT’s Episode 8 Act 1 kickoff, and Riot positioned it as a premium featured skin line. A sequel filling in more popular weapon slots was always going to be one of the safer bets for a returning collection this popular.

KURONAMI 2.0 price prediction

There is still no official Riot price for KURONAMI 2.0 as of now. That part is important. Nothing public from Riot confirms the VP cost yet.

That said, the original Kuronami bundle launched at 9,500 VP, with individual weapon skins priced in the premium range and the melee sitting above the standard gun skin cost. One current leak summary also suggests the new guns could land at 2,175 VP each, which hints that Riot may classify this follow-up differently from the first bundle, though that remains unconfirmed until the skin appears in the client or Riot publishes a trailer.

So right now, the safest read is this. Expect a premium price, but do not treat any exact number as final until Riot reveals the bundle in-game.

KURONAMI 2.0 release date

There is no official release date from Riot yet. The bundle has not appeared in published patch notes or on an official skin reveal page at the time of writing. Riot’s current game updates page and recent patch notes do not list KURONAMI 2.0, which strongly suggests the collection is still in leak territory for now.

The original Kuronami collection arrived on January 9, 2024, alongside the Episode 8 Act 1 launch, so the new bundle will likely follow the usual featured store rollout once Riot is ready to reveal it. Riot has previously said featured store items rotate on a two-week cadence, which is usually how major premium bundles are surfaced in VALORANT.

KURONAMI 2.0 already looks like a bundle made for players who love sleek, high-status skins with a stormy Japanese-inspired edge. The leaked lineup of Ghost, Phantom, Guardian, Operator, and Naru-Kami melee is strong on paper.

The only missing pieces now are the official Riot reveal, the final VP price, and the release date. Once those are live, this bundle could end up being one of the easiest sales VALORANT has had in a while.
