Two of Clove’s abilities: Pick-Me-Up (C) and Not Dead Yet (X), are getting nerfed in the upcoming 8.11 patch.
Clove is VALORANT’s latest agent, added in Episode 8 Act 2 (8.05 patch.) Riot Games’ plan with this character was to create an agent who could fill in the role of a smoker without staying in the back.
Although Riot Games succeeded in achieving what it aimed for, its result may have been better than it anticipated. Like many newly introduced agents, Clove turned out to be too strong and is crying for a nerf.
However, Riot Games was listening to the community feedback for Clove. And now, they are issuing nerfs for one of their basic abilities and the ultimate. Here are the Clove nerfs coming to VALORANT in the 8.11 patch:

- Duration 10s >>> 8s
- Damaging Assist Time to activate 10s >>> 6s
- Not Dead Yet (X)
- Cost 7 >>> 8
- Unequip Delay .7 >>> .8s
- BUG FIX: Clove’s ultimate will no longer survive the fighting state if they get a smoke assist.
The ultimate nerf seems to be very minor, apart from the fact that you need to get one more point to get it. The (C) ability nerf may impact her gameplay and force players to opt in for more viable options. Nonetheless, it will be exciting to see whether the recent Clove changes will have an impact on their pick rate or not.
