Riot Games has officially unveiled the Aeris skin bundle for VALORANT, introducing a flashy magical card theme packed with custom animations, transforming weapons, and one of the most elaborate melee skins we have seen in the game.

Riot describes Aeris as being centered around captivating card magic, with the official reveal going live on August 17. Alongside the reveal, leaks have detailed the full weapon lineup, pricing, variants, finisher, and even a surprising League of Legends Riftbound Easter egg.

In brief

  • Aeris includes skins for the Vandal, Bandit, Guardian, Marshal, and Suit of Aeris melee
  • The full Aeris bundle is reportedly priced at 9,500 VP
  • Four color options are available: Default White, Red, Purple, and Blue
  • Aeris is expected to arrive with the next VALORANT store rotation around August 19, 2026

VALORANT Aeris Bundle Weapon Skins

The Aeris collection reportedly includes: the Vandal, Bandit, Guardian, and Marshal, alongside the transforming Suit of Aeris melee.

All four firearms feature custom equip and reload animations inspired by cardistry. During the inspect animation, the weapon is held horizontally while energy pulses through magical cards embedded throughout the design.

Players will also be able to choose between Default White, Red, Purple, and Blue variants.

Suit of Aeris Melee Has Multiple Forms

The Suit of Aeris is easily the bundle’s biggest attraction. Instead of having a single weapon form, the melee transforms depending on the attack. The first primary attack uses a dagger, attacks two and three transform it into a sword, while the fourth brings out a greatsword.

Each transition incorporates magical cards and unique animations. Its alternate attack also uses the greatsword with dedicated VFX, audio, and another card transformation.

Even the equip and inspect animations lean heavily into cardistry, with cards spinning into the dagger or floating around the weapon before merging together.

Aeris Finisher and Riftbound Easter Egg

Aeris also comes with a dedicated finisher. Magical cards surround the eliminated enemy before striking them, darkening the environment and triggering an explosion followed by a pillar of energy and ambient music.

The accompanying Flex cosmetic is a magical deck of cards operated with both hands. According to leaked information, there is also a 10% chance of triggering a Riftbound Easter egg, replacing the normal deck with cards based on Riot’s Riftbound: League of Legends Trading Card Game.

VALORANT Aeris Bundle Price

The complete Aeris bundle is reportedly priced at 9,500 VP.

Individual weapon skins cost 2,375 VP, while the Suit of Aeris melee costs 5,350 VP. The Flex costs 1,375 VP, the Player Card costs 575 VP, and the Gun Buddy costs 475 VP.

VALORANT Aeris Bundle Release Date

Riot has not yet published a specific Aeris store release date alongside its August 17 reveal. However, the current Neo Frontier store offering is scheduled to end on August 18 at 23:00 UTC, while the current Act concludes on August 19.

So, that makes August 19, 2026, the expected release date for the Aeris bundle, assuming it replaces the current featured collection at the normal VALORANT store rotation. Until Riot confirms the timing directly, that date should be treated as expected rather than officially confirmed.
