How to Upgrade Gadgets in Spider-Man 2
Unlocking The Gadgets
In the game’s early stages, you will only have access to two gadgets, and the rest can be unlocked while progressing the main story. You should unlock those useful gadgets first and focus on upgrading them.
To unlock some gadgets such as Web-Grabber, Concussion Burst, and Ricochet Web, you must have resources like Tech Parts, Rare Tech Parts, Hero Tokens, and City Tokens. Completing some crimes and photo ops will grant you those resources. Once you have collected them, Go to the menu, select GADGETS, and unlock your preferred gadgets by selecting CRAFT (HOLD X).
Upgrading The Gadgets
After unlocking a gadget, you have the option to upgrade it. One gadget can have multiple upgrades that you can get as you level up. To upgrade, you need the same resources as unlocking those gadgets, including Tech Parts, Rare Tech Parts, Hero Tokens, and City Tokens. Go to the menu, select GADGETS, select the gadget you want to upgrade, and get the upgrade by selecting CRAFT (HOLD X).
