Ubisoft has released a new teaser for Rainbow Six Siege that seems to hint at the game’s next seasonal event, which will be based on the upcoming Rainbow Six Extraction game.

The short teaser was released on the official Rainbow Six Siege Twitter account, stating it as “a routine safety announcement from the Abidjan Metro System. The announcer shared a warning that the “consulate station and surrounding areas are currently closed to commuters due to a gas leak”.

The Twitter account’s header image has also been updated with the August 3 release date of this main limited-time game mode. The background of this image also features an Extraction-based environment with what looks like parasite growth in front of the Consulate map.

Abidjan, Ivory Coast, is the location of the Consulate map, which is where the new event will take place. Like the past events, the map will get a full makeover to fit the theme of the seasonal event.

According to a brief clip released by Zer0Bytes, Consulate will be covered with R6 Extraction’s black alien slime. Even though the release date of Extraction has been pushed back until Jan. of next year, Siege players will still be able to get some early action with these alien-like parasites. Zer0Bytes even shared that this upcoming event will last more than 3 weeks, ending on August 28th.

However, none of this information has been confirmed by Ubisoft as of yet, so take this with a grain of salt. We’ll be updating you about this event as soon as Ubisoft releases new information.
