Two-time Rainbow Six Invitational winner ‘Canadian’ is joining the North American organization of DarkZero Esports, the player announced earlier today.

In March 2021, Troy “Canadian” Jaroslawski announced his retirement from Rainbow Six Siege, surprising the entire Siege community. However, four months later, “Canadian” stunned everyone once again by announcing his return to competitive Siege, and was looking for a team.

Canadian explained how his motivation to return as an esports player was restored when he participated in the Six Invitational 2021. SSG’s stand-in Luke was unable to attend SI’ 2021 in Paris due to passport issues, which is when Canadian returned for a brief period.

With the transfer window now being opened, DarkZero Esports have snatched this opportunity to sign this experienced IGL for their main Siege roster.

As stated by the org, Canadian will be filling in the place of coach turned player Brandon “BC” Carr, who will now return to the coaching position alongside Kyle “Mint” Lander. BC and Canadian played together before on the squad of Evil Geniuses and had placed second together at the Six Invitational 2018 and Six Major Paris.

On joining the team, Canadian said:

“I’m eager to start this next chapter in my career with DarkZero beginning with stage 3 of the NAL. The potential is endless with the wealth of experience and talent that this roster brings under a banner as supportive as DarkZero.”

At the recent Mexico Major, DarkZero finished 1st in their group before a playoff loss to eventual champs Team oNe. Now the team will be looking for a strong finish in the North American League Stage 3, with their new leader of Canadian.

DarkZero Esports R6S Roster:

  • Troy ‘Canadian‘ Jaroslawski
  • Paul ‘Hyper‘ Kontopanagiotis
  • Nick ‘njr‘ Rapier
  • Tyler ‘Ecl9pse‘ McMullin
  • Roberto ‘Panbazou‘ Feliciano
  • BC and Mint (Coach)
