Byron ‘Reckful’ Bernstein was an American Twitch streamer and former esports pro. According to his ex-girlfriend, he has passed away on July 2nd. At the time of his passing, he was 31 years of age.
The news was first brought to light by his ex-girlfriend BlueGoesMew on Twitter. She wrote in her tweet, “Yes, it’s him. He’s gone.” Just two minutes later she added this, “I’ve been having a panic attack for an hour. I don’t know what to do.”

Reckful’s roommate has apparently confirmed the news about him passing away. According to streamer Nymn on Twitter. He let us know that BlueGoesMeow’s twitter was not hacked and that Reckful has indeed passed away.
Reckful’s Last Tweets:
In his last tweets, he made it clear that he was going through some tough times. He said, “ahh, i feel bad for anyone who has to deal with my insanity”.
He also said, “please just know in these situations the insane person does not feel in control of their actions”.
He Proposed to His Girlfriend On Twitter
Just one hour before his last two tweets he proposed to his Girlfriend BeccaTilts on Twitter.

Reckful was a World of Warcraft veteran. He finished rank one for six seasons back to back. He was also the first player ever to reach 3000 rating.
In 2011 he released a gaming movie called Reckful3 which got more than a million views within a week of release.
Reckful used to stream a wide variety of content to his 923,810+ audience. He used to stream with gaming content, IRL streams, and sometimes cooking.
Reckful also tried to help viewers with depression by talking to a psychiatrist on Stream because he was suicidal for many years.
