As MSI 2023 is on the horizon, here is the list of the top 10 jungle players participating in this event.

MSI, or the Mid-Season Invitational, is the year’s second-largest League of Legends event. It is an event where the 13 best teams compete against each other. The winner of this tournament will be crowned as the MSI champions.

As League of Legends is a team-based game, a role is specified for each member to make the game more accessible and more fluent. And one of the most critical roles is the jungle.

The jungle is a role where the player roams around the map freely, collecting xp and gold by killing neutral monster camps, setting up kills for his team, and securing high-priority objectives to help their team win. Since the jungler can roam from the early stages of the game, he can quickly help all the other lanes fast and efficiently by ganking them.

Because of the responsibility, the jungle player must be self-reliant. He has to play in a way that will benefit his team in the long run.

Since MSI is right around the corner, casual or avid League players get to see what the highest level of League of Legends looks like. So here is the list of top jungle players in the upcoming MSI 2023.

MSI 2023 – Top 5 Jungle Players

5 – Elyoya (MAD Lions)

Elyoya is the jungle player for MAD Lions. Currently picking champions like Vi, Lee Sin, and Sejuani in most matches, he excels at setting up kills for his teammates. Setting up the early pressure and tanking most damage for his teammates, he is a valuable player in MAD Lions.

4 – Xun (Bilibili Gaming)

Xun is the current jungler for BLG. But unlike Elyoya, he has more of a high tempo and carry playstyle. Though it is a high risk, especially in the current jungle meta, Xun somehow makes it work without much effort.

3 – Oner (T1)

Everyone knew Oner was going to be on this list. He is currently the main jungler for T1. His play style aligns more with Elyoya’s playstyle by putting pressure in the early stages. And most of his matches are with Sejuani and Vi. Additionally, with Sejuani nerfs, Oner is leaning more towards Vi and Lee Sin.

2 – Peanut (GEN.G)

Peanut is the current jungler of the LCK 2023 Spring champions team Gen.G. His main champion in the current meta is Wukong since he can counter most meta jungle champions currently. But with Wukong, he plays very aggressively. Additionally, he also plays Vi similarly. In drafts, where he cannot pick Vi or Wukong, he picks Maokai or Sejuani and tries to set up kills for his teammates.

1 – Kanavi (JD Gaming)

Kanavi is currently the best jungle player competing in the MSI 2023. He is the jungler for JD Gaming. While he is known for building peculiar items on his jungle picks, he mostly plays Wukong with his most decisive meta builds. But if his team wants or Wukong is banned, he sets up kills efficiently with his Maokai and Sejuani. With the current jungle meta being stale and filled with high CC champions at the top, Kanavi is the best at efficiently utilizing everything the meta junglers have to offer.
