Blood Moon Essence is a rare material in Remnant 2. But this material is also farmable. Here is how to do it.
Remnant 2 adds a lot of new things to the game. Keeping the core gameplay intact, the devs have added a lot of new items, equipment, and secrets to the game. You will get a lot of new melee weapons, guns, and traits. The roles have seen significant expansion, and with that, every role has special abilities in the game.
Other than that, there are new secrets to find in Remnant 2. This time around, there are also events that trigger during the playthrough. One of the events is the blood moon. During the blood moon, you will be able to get blood moon essence, a rare crafting material. Here we will discuss how to farm them in the game easily.

Blood Moon Essence Farming
As we have said before, blood moon essence can only be gained during the blood moon phase. This phase triggers randomly in Yaesha areas. During the blood moon, you will find purple flying whisps in the air. Shoot them down to get the blood moon essence in the game.
Purple wisps usually spawn near wooden buildings, and they do not spawn inside areas. So make sure to be outside them the blood moon rises. To farm for blood moon essence, follow these steps:
- Unlock all the areas in Yaesha.
- Teleport to another world and then return to different zones of Yaesha.
- Check if the moon is red. If it is red, that means the blood moon is active.
- Search for the purple wisps flying around the blood moon area.
- Kill the wisps to gain the blood moon essence.
You can get some good items with blood moon essence. And the summoner archetype is also locked as a secret and needed to be unlocked using blood moon essence. Blood moon can be forced to spawn by the above method, but there is no way to know how long it will take. It take sometimes take up to 20 minutes to get a blood moon spawn. So if you want to farm the blood essence, you will have to be patient about it.
