In a dominating performance, Team BDS has defeated Team Empire to win the Rainbow Six European League for the first time.
In the Grand Finals, we saw the top two teams of EUL 2021 fight off to take the regional title. Team Empire bested Na’Vi in the semi-finals and Team BDS defeated G2 esports in a close encounter to advance to the finals.
The best-of-five grand finals ended swiftly as Team BDS steamrolled Empire, winning the series with a 3-0 scoreline.
Alongside the trophy, Team BDS will be taking the €50,000 prize money while Team Empire in 2nd place will get €10,000.
In the third-place match, Na’Vi managed to take down G2 esports with a 2-1 scoreline in a bo3 series. While both these teams have struggled in the last stage of the 2021 season, they will now look forward to fixing their mistakes and playing the game to their fullest potential.
The Six Invitational closed qualifiers for Europe will start from January 22nd, where Team Vitality, Secret, Cowana, and MNM gaming will compete in a double bracket format to secure a place in SI 2022. Make sure to follow us for the latest updates.
