The universe of Starfield is large, expansive, and filled with dangers like pirates, spacers, and alien beasts. However, you don’t have to take it on alone. Starfield is filled with diverse and interesting characters, which includes 20 companions that you can recruit to make your journey easier. One of whom is Andreja.
Andreja is the newest recruit of the Constellation, joining in 2328. She has a stubborn personality and a moral compass owing to her rough life. Hailing from the farthest reaches of the Settled Systems, her background is a mystery to everyone.
No one knows where she is from. Furthermore, she does not like talking about her past and shoots down anyone who brings it up.
This guide informs you of Andreja’s skills, how to get her to join your crew, and how to romance her.

As you can see, she is great for stealth and proficient in energy weapons. She makes for a great companion if you enjoy stealth rather than running and gunning. Furthermore, she is also good in direct combat situations, thanks to her high skill level in Particle Beams.
How to Recruit Andreja
You’ll first meet Andreja during the quest “Into the Unknown.” After bringing the artifact back to the Lodge and finishing the quest, you’ll get the chance to recruit her. You can ask her to become a companion by speaking to her in the Lodge.
Can You Romance Andreja?
Andreja is one of 4 romanceable companions in the game. You’ll have to finish her companion quest, “Divided Loyalties,” before she becomes a romance option.
Initiate dialogue with her when the “Talk to Andreja“ activity pops up, and select the [FLIRT] dialogue option to show romantic interest; this will start the companion quest.
At the end of this quest, two dialogue options will pop up when talking to Andreja, one for friendship and the other for romance. Pick “I’ll always be there for you. I love you.” to make her your romantic partner.
To unlock this quest, you’ll need to increase your affinity with her. You can do so by fulfilling her likes and dislikes:
- Andreja likes justice, no matter how brutal it may be. So make sure to punish those who deserve it, even if it means killing them.
- Andreja likes brutality and intimidation but not against innocents.
- Andreja hates crime, so make sure not to break the law.
- Andreja herself has a dark past, so she does not like judging anyone’s past
- Andreja values honesty, so be transparent with her and tell her the truth.
- Andreja wants a closed relationship, so do not flirt with other characters.
Romance with her does not end after her companion quest. In fact, after you’ve increased affinity with her enough and had all her special conversations, you can unlock the [COMMITMENT] dialogue option, which will allow you to marry her.

Andreja is best suited as an active companion during stealth and espionage missions due to her high skill level in Stealth, Theft, and Particle Beams if combat arises.
She can also make for a good crew member thanks to her proficiency in Energy Weapon Systems.
