Riot Games have announced an upcoming skin for Yorick, Spirit Blossom Yorick, which will release on patch 12.19.
Initially released in 2020, the Spirit Blossom skin line is one of the most beloved skin lines of League of Legends. Many players still consider it the best skin the game has ever received.
Spirit Blossom featured skins for champions such as Yone, Ahri, Cassiopia, Thresh, Yasuo, Teemo, Lillia, Kindred, and Vayne. These skins were overall very well received by fans. Spirit Blossom event also came with a limited-time game mode, Nexus Blitz, and the first ever visual novel-style side mode.
After waiting, Riot has officially revealed the upcoming event for League of Legends, Spirit Blossom. This new Spirit Blossom event will release nine new skins, and one of those skins is Spirit Blossom Yorick.
Yorick is one of the oldest characters released in League of Legends. Initially released in 2011, on release he was extremely clunky to play with. So much so that in 2016, he received a much-needed rework. After that, even though he has been getting a higher pick rate, he remains a niche pick overall.
Since he is a niche pick, he doesn’t get many skins. Because of this, Riot finally announced a new skin for Yorick, Spirit Blossom Yorick.

Spirit Blossom Yorick will be released in patch 12.19, scheduled to hit live servers on Thursday, October 6, 2022, alongside the Spirit Blossom event.
