Riot has officially revealed the upcoming skin that will receive a prestige edition, Spirit Blossom Master Yi, which will release on patch 12.19.
Initially released in 2020, the Spirit Blossom skin line is one of the most beloved skin lines of League of Legends. Many players still consider it the best skin the game has ever received.
Spirit Blossom featured skins for champions such as Yone, Ahri, Cassiopia, Thresh, Yasuo, Teemo, Lillia, Kindred, and Vayne. These skins were overall very well received by fans. Spirit Blossom event also came with a limited-time game mode, Nexus Blitz, and the first ever visual novel-style side mode.
After waiting, Riot has officially revealed the upcoming event for League of Legends, Spirit Blossom. This new Spirit Blossom event will release with 9 new skins. One of those skins is Spirit Blossom, Master Yi. Furthermore, Spirit Blossom Master Yi will have a prestige edition as well.
Master Yi is one of the first champions released in League of Legends, who was also playable since alpha week 2. Ever since then, Master Yi has been a fan favorite champion. He has a very simple yet powerful kit. As a result, he has been a very prominent pick among all the ranks. Being a very old champion, he has 12 different skins. All of them are unique and good-looking. But he does not have any prestige edition skins.
But in this Spirit Blossom 2020 event, Riot is finally giving Master Yi a Spirit Blossom skin and a prestige edition skin.
