Riot has unveiled the upcoming Morgana skin, Snow Moon Morgana, which will release in patch 13.10.
There are many iconic skin lines in League of Legends. And one of the most notable skin lines is Blood Moon.
Blood Moon is part of an alternative universe of League of Legends called Moons of Ionia. In this universe, there are cultists who worship the demons of Blood Moon. We have seen many iconic skins from this universe, like Blood Moon Akali, Blood Moon Yi, Blood Moon Aatrox, etc. This universe is so popular that Riot made two short stories based on Blood Moon: The Bloody Tale and Trial of the Masks.
Last year, Riot released the Snow Moon skin line, the first expansion of the Blood Moon universe. The Snow Moon skins that came out during that period were Snow Moon Caitlyn, Snow Moon Kayn, and Snow Moon Illaoi. Moreover, lore-wise, Snow Moon and Blood Moon are rival cults.
And now, in 2023, Riot will bring back Snow Moon with new skins. One of the new skins is Snow Moon Morgana.
Initially released in 2009, Morgana is one of the most popular champions in League of Legends. Because of it, she has received many skins. Furthermore, since Majestic Empress Morgana, she has received one skin annually. Last year, she received Star Nemesis Morgana, her second-best skin after her legendary Coven skin.
This upcoming Morgana skin is similarly high quality as her previous skins. Probably worthy of the same place as Star Nemesis Morgana. It is a good pick-up if you are a Morgana main, as it has a fantastic snow aesthetic and good visual effects.
