Riot has revealed the upcoming Udyr skin, Snow Moon Ahri, which will release in patch 13.10.
League of Legends has many iconic skin lines. And one of the iconic skin lines is the Blood Moon.
Blood Moon exists in the alternative League of Legends universe called Moons of Ionia. In this universe, there exist cultists who worship the demons of the Blood Moon. Initially, the Blood Moon skin line was divided into two sections, Cultists and Demons.
From the Cultist side, we have seen skins like Blood Moon Master Yi, Blood Moon Akali, Blood Moon Jhin, etc. And popular demon skins include Blood Moon Aatrox, Blood Moon Kalista, Blood Moon Thresh, etc.
In 2022, Riot released new Snow Moon skin lines, which were canonically tied to Blood Moon Universe. The Snow Moon skins included Snow Moon Kayn, Snow Moon Caitlyn, and Snow Moon Illaoi. And in the lore, they are the rival cult of the Blood Moon.
And recently, Riot announced they would make a new iteration of Snow Moon featuring three skins. One of these skins will be Snow Moon Ahri.
Ahri is one of the most iconic champions in League of Legends. But her models did not age well since it was released in 2011. So Riot gave her an ASU or Art and Sustainability Update earlier this year. This update was a massive success, making her current models and animations on par with recent releases. Moreover, even slightly before that, Riot released a mini-rework for Ahri to make her viable in the current meta.
Since Ahri is an iconic champion, she also boasts one of the highest skins. Moreover, excluding the upcoming one, she already has 16 unique skins. And her skin numbers will grow exponentially as she received an ASU.
