Beatrix is chasing those Slimes again. Little does she know that there are other things to look for as well. There are so many valuable resources just lying around, trapped in a Treasure Pod or even somewhere else. Beatrix needs to collect these for her future Slime Science projects as these resources are valued in the Fabricator from the Refinery.
However, Wild Honey is one of those valuable resources. Well, Honey can be wild, but what’s so special about it? However, before getting into depth, let Beatrix know that she can’t just taste handfuls of Wild Honey just like that. It’s too valuable to get digested into her belly.

What is Wild Honey in Slime Rancher 2?
Wild Honey is basically a common Slime Science resource. It is an exclusive Moss Blanket item. However, you need an Apiary to collect Wild Honey. And this Apiary can be crafted in the Fabricator using Blueprints. Then, deposit the Wild Honey into the Refinery. After that, you can craft gadgets or other items in the Fabricator when you have the necessary Blueprints. Check out here to learn more about Slime Science.
This Wild Honey can be collected as a clay honeypot. Note that this Honey tastes the most delicious in the galaxy. Even though this heavenly production from the sweet nectar of Moss Blanket is not available to Beatrix to have some, her ranched Slimes, however, can have a natural boost from consuming this. Lousy luck, Beatrix.
How to Get Wild Honey?
At first, I would suggest crafting a Jetpack to travel your way around much faster. You will need Radiant Ore to craft one. Check out here to learn more about Radiant Ore. In short, you can get Radiant Ore from Ember Valley. Moreover, if you can find Pink Gordo on the NorthWest frontier of the Rainbow field, it can aid you on the way to Ember Valley.
Now, to get Wild Honey, you need to have access to the Starlight Strand area in Slime Rancher 2. Presume you haven’t unlocked that yet. No worries, we have another way around.
Head to the Southern part of the Rainbow Field. You will see a Cotton Gordo blocking your way. As its favorite diet is Water Lettuce, you can even provide him vegetables to feed until he explodes. Now, when he explodes, he can generate a Teleporter on the way to his last breath. And this Teleporter will take you to the Starlight Strand. Yare Yare Daze!
Presume you have already equipped your Jetpack. You might find a few similarities between the Beehive and the Buzz Wax. However, note that the Beehive appears more Golden in color. You will also notice the brown stripes over the Hive. Once you locate one, extract Wild Honey from the Hive and bring it to your base. You can then deposit the Wild Honey into the Refinery for further process.
