Six Invitational 2022 Twitch Drops: Everything you need to know

Ubisoft has just announced the latest Twitch Drops program for the upcoming Six Invitational 2022.

Just like the past few Rainbow Six Siege esports major events, Ubisoft will be enabling Twitch Drops for the Six Invitational 2022. Furthermore, the team at Ubisoft has also made some improvements to the Twitch Drops program that fans have been asking for some time now.

According to the official blog post, Ubisoft has removed the possibility for duplicate items, and also made Battle Pass points available in the Esports Packs.

Here’s a list of the items available in the esports packs and how you can get them for free.

How to get free Esports Packs?

Tune in for the playdays from February 8 to 12, February 14 to 16, and February 18 to 20 to earn the esports pack for the Six Invitational 2022 on the R6 esports official channels.

For the first time this year, the Esports Pack content can include Battle Pass Points, as well as more than 70 items detailed in the list at the end of the article called “ESPORTS PACKS ITEMS LIST”.

TUNE IN FOR THE GRAND FINAL TO EARN AN EXCLUSIVE SET

To celebrate the Grand Final of the Six Invitational 2022 on February 20, an exclusive Iana set will be made available, adding to the existing items available throughout the event. This exclusive Iana set will be available on all our official channels as well as channels taking part in the online Watch Party program.

S.I. 2022 Iana Set: 2 items – dropping individually

• S.I. 2022 Iana Headgear – after 2 hours of watch time.
• S.I. 2022 Iana Uniform – after 4 hours of watch time.

TIME WATCHED TO EARN ESPORTS PACKS

For the Six Invitational 2022, we have updated the watch time requirements to earn Esports Packs. Please find all the details below:

From February 8 to 12, packs will drop accordingly:

• 1st pack will drop after 1 hour of watch time.
• 2nd pack will drop after 5 hours of watch time.
• 3rd pack will drop after 9 hours of watch time.
• 4th pack will drop after 13 hours of watch time.
• 5th pack will drop after 17 hours of watch time.
• 6th pack will drop after 21 hours of watch time.

From February 14 to 16: you can earn up to 2 packs per day, the 1st dropping after 4 hours, and the second dropping after 8 hours each day.

From February 18 to 20, packs will drop as follows:

• On February 18 and 19, you can earn up to 2 packs per day:
  • 1st pack will drop after 3 hours of watch time.
  • 2nd pack will drop after 7 hours of watch time.
• On February 20:
  • 1st pack after 2 hours of watch time.
  • 2nd pack after 4 hours of watch time.
  • 3rd pack will drop after 7 hours of watch time.
  • 4th pack will drop after 8 hours of watch time.

EARN EXCLUSIVE ITEMS BY WATCHING YOUR FAVORITE CONTENT CREATORS

Adding to the Esports Packs during the competition, we’re offering new Twitch Drops content for a wide range of content creators streaming Rainbow Six Siege. These will drop on the days leading up to the event, on the days without any official matches, and during the last 3 days of the Six Invitational 2022.

• February 5 and 6

From February 5 to 6, fans can earn the following item by watching 4 hours of any content creator streaming Rainbow Six Siege that have their Ubisoft Connect and Twitch accounts connected with Twitch Drops enabled.

S.I. 2022 Iana Set: S.I. 2022 Iana Charm

• February 7, 13, 17, and from February 18 to 20.

On February 7, 13, and 17, fans can earn the following item by watching 4 hours of selected content creators streaming Rainbow Six Siege. This item will also be available from February 18 to 20 on all content creators’ channels taking part in the online Watch Party program after 4 hours of watch time.

Please find the list of channels of selected content creators taking part in the activation for this exclusive item at the end of this article in the section called “LIST OF SELECTED CONTENT CREATOR CHANNELS”. Please note, this is not the list of streamers taking part in the online Watch Party program, which will be shared in the coming days on social media.

TUNE IN FOR THE YEAR 7 ROADMAP TO REDEEM YOUR EXCLUSIVE CHARM

The Six Invitational being a special moment for the entire Siege family, we will reveal on February 20 the roadmap for Year 7 for the game and our esports scene live on stream. As we delve into the announcements for next season, a code will be displayed on stream, allowing you to redeem the special charm below.

HOW TO REDEEM DROPS

Register your account by heading over to https://drops-register.ubi.com and link your Twitch account to your Ubisoft account. You will then be prompted to opt into the drops feature. Please make sure that your account is linked before you tune in to the broadcast.

All drops will need to be claimed manually. You can track all the Drops progression on the Inventory page https://www.twitch.tv/drops/inventory. When the Drops condition is reached, you will need to click on the “Claim” button in the Inventory page to claim the reward and continue the progression towards the next reward. Please note that the “Claim” button will be available only 24 hours after the end of the campaign (the final playday of the Six Invitational). The delivery of claimed items will usually be done 48 hours after the end of the Six Invitational.

More information: Twitch Drops are activated for all five platforms the game is currently available on: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. You do not currently need to own Rainbow Six Siege to be able to earn drops. If you have your Twitch account linked to your Ubisoft account, and your Ubisoft account has been linked with your console accounts or PC, then you will receive the items when you login for the first time after installing.
