Popular leakers and data miners have already revealed the next Legend set up for Season 17, and the character will be called Ballistic.

Starting from Season 1, Respawn released a brand new character every new season. Catalyst was the latest Legend released in Season 15, along with a new map called Broken Moon. And it seems like more Legends are on their way to the Outlands.

It’s been three seasons since Apex Legends received an Assault character. So, it seemed pretty obvious that the Season 16 character would be an Assault class Legend. And the recent leaks from the data miners and leakers might’ve proved it to be true.

However, in Season 16, Apex Legends went through a massive character overhaul. As a result, Respawn decided not to introduce any new character, so the meta does not get hampered. So, Ballistic was postponed.

New Assault Class Legend “Ballistic”

“Ballistic” First Look

On December 9, HYPERMYST, a prominent data miner in the Apex community, shared a picture of a banner with a new legend on it. The image was really blurry, and nothing could be made out of it other than it wasn’t someone we had previously seen.

However, a new leak surfaced in the Apex Legends Uncovered community along with more details of a new Legend called Ballistic. And this time, we got a more transparent look at this mysterious Legend that HYPERMYST leaked before.

At first glance, Ballistic’s appearance resembles Kuben Blisk. However, it is unlikely that Ballistic is Blisk because Respawn has shown Blisk a couple of times in the lore videos, and he has a different look than our new Legend.

“Ballistic” Abilities

Thanks to the leakers, we got Ballistic’s all three abilities, which are unlike anything we’ve seen before.

Passive – Weapon Sling: A sling where you can store a third weapon. Access via inventory. The sling weapon cannot take attachments.

Tactical – Smart Bullet: Shoots a projectile that debuffs the enemy. Enemies guns will start heat up as they shoot. Overheating will cause a reaction and deal damage. Holding the Tactical will allow it to lock-on to a target.

Ultimate – Weapon Enhance: When activated nearby teammates get a buff applied. It gives faster reloads, unarmed move speed, and Infinite Ammo. Ballistic’s sling weapon will be equipped and upgraded to gold.
