Balancing

Solis, Dokkaebi and Nokk are the three operators to be getting major rebalancing in Y9S3. Solis who was just nerfed last season is getting a nerf again. Solis’s detection view will be now limited to a small radius in the centre of the screen, and she won’t automatically detect the type of electronic gadgets with her scanner. The SPEC-IO scanner now has a maximum of three Overclock charges, using which Solis can identify the gadgets, but Attackers will get a visual notification when they are being scanned.

  • Dokkaebi starts with 0 Logic Bomb charges that fill over time up to 2 charges maximum.
  • Nøkk’s Hel Presence Reduction only depletes when the ability protects them from being viewed by observation tools. The time to refill has been increased.
  • Proximity Alarm no longer grants score points after being triggered.
  • Claymores now instantly explode instead of after a short delay.

Weapon Balancing

FMG-9

  • Improved Recoil: The FMG-9 has undergone recoil adjustments to make it easier to control during sustained fire, particularly for a longer range. Horizontal recoil has been reduced, and the first kick minimized, allowing for better control when holding long angles. On consoles, lateral recoil has also been decreased.

R4-C

  • Ammo Reduced: The R4-C now has a reduced magazine size, from 30 to 25 bullets. The total number of bullets has been lowered to 151 (from 181) across 6 magazines.

A new drone speed boost feature has been introduced that allows Standard Drones, Brava’s Kludge Drone, Twitch’s Shock Drone, and Echo’s Yokai Drone to get a nitrous-like speed bump. Each drone will have 3 of these charges and each charge has a meter that can be efficiently managed similar to Maverick’s Blow Torch charge.
