Rainbow Six Siege Y10S1 Operation Prep Phase: Release Date and Time

Ubisoft’s FPS shooter, Rainbow Six Siege, is about to hit a huge milestone, as the game will be reaching its Year 10 very soon. The devs are preparing a massive overhaul to this game with Siege X.

Rainbow Six Siege’s Y10S1 Operation Prep Phase will kick off Year 10, and prepare the game before its massive update with Siege X. So, the players can expect less content in this season, as a major part of the dev team is working to release Siege X next season.

R6S Y10S1 will still introduce a new operator called Rauora, who will be joining the team as an Attacker.

When is R6S Year 10 Season 1 Releasing?

Ubisoft has officially announced that Rainbow Six Siege Year 10 Season 1, Operation Prep Phase, will launch on Tuesday, March 4th, across all platforms. While the exact release and maintenance schedule hasn’t been confirmed, based on past seasons, the update is expected to go live at 13:00 UTC with approximately one hour of downtime.

Players will be able to play with the new operator Rauora, who is bringing a smart bulletproof cover system that can be deployed on door frames. The operator will also see a new weapon in her secondary loadout, the Reaper MK2, which is a machine pistol.

Apart from the new operator, the new season will bring some changes to the Hereford Base map, the release of the Reputation System from Beta, new Celebration Packs that include old rare items.
