Siege X: What is coming?

The devs have been quietly working behind the scenes on Siege X for three years now. This generational update is expected to bring major graphical and audio upgrades. A more tactical gameplay with exciting new ways to play the game.

The devs have promised to keep the essence of what makes Siege great, and now they will be adding on top of that to fix all the issues that the community has been asking for years. Rainbow Six Siege has suffered a lot due to its old game engine, so with Siege X, the devs won’t be constrained by the engine’s limitations anymore (as of now, we are not sure what new engine Siege X will use).

Ubisoft has stated that Siege X is not a sequel, it is just a major update that will help them to support the game for 10 more years. Alexander Karpazis, game director of Siege, has confirmed that Siege is here to stay and they are committed to supporting the game for at least another 10 years.
