Rainbow Six Siege X, the biggest update since its release, has been officially revealed, and you can now get free access to try out the beta version of Siege X.
Siege X Showcase event just took place in Atlanta, and Ubisoft partnered up with huge streamers such as Jynxzi, Shroud, Marley and more for this special occasion.
Rainbow Six Siege X will be bringing a major overhaul to Siege, including a new 6v6 game mode, visual and audio improvements, new interactable environment objects, and more. Not only that, with the release of Siege X this June, Rainbow Six Siege will be free to play, but certain features like Ranked and Siege cup will be locked for premium players.

Siege X: How to Play Closed Beta?
Rainbow Six Siege X Closed Beta has kicked off just after the showcase event ended. To access the R6 Siege X Closed Beta, you simply have to watch 30 minutes of Twitch stream from a selected list of Content Creators.
However, do make sure to connect your Twitch and Ubisoft account to claim the Twitch Drop to your account. After getting the drop and claiming it, you will receive an email from Ubisoft to get a download link for your preferred platform.
If you pick PC
- The Closed Beta will automatically be added to your Ubisoft Connect Library
- Download the Closed Beta
If you pick PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S
- You will receive a platform-specific Beta key
- Redeem the key in the PlayStation Xbox store to unlock the Closed Beta
- Download the Closed Beta
R6 Siege X Closed Beta will run from March 13th at 12pm PT and conclude on March 19th at 12pm PT. In closed beta, you will only be able to access the new 6v6 Dual Front game mode and training modes. Even if you don’t own Rainbow Six Siege, you can access the closed Beta for free.
