Rainbow Six Siege is finally set to enable crossplay between console and PC users, allowing them to play together.

Rainbow Six Siege is about to enter its last season of Year 9 with Operation Collision Point (Y9S4). Ubisoft has released Rainbow Six Siege’s mid-season roadmap update, showcasing the features that are coming in the next season, and what has been pushed back.

Siege fans will be delighted to see some of these changes that they have been waiting for years to finally release on live servers in Y9S4.

Siege’s Y9S4 is about to kick off with a bang, as Ubisoft finally introduces crossplay between console and PC. The crossplay system will work by allowing console players to join their PC friends, but they will be put into the PC matchmaking pool.

Additionally, the new MouseTrap feature will force confirmed MnK console players into the PC matchmaking pool, also with PC recoil values to enable a fair playing ground.

The new season is finally going to nerf the Attacking Shield operators, as they have been causing a riot in the Siege servers since their rework in Y9S1. Some more operator balancing changes have been teased such as Blackbeard rework, Ying nerf, Sens and Thunderbird buff.

Make sure to follow us for the latest updates, as R6S Operation Collision Point reveal panel is taking place on Sunday, NOVEMBER 17TH.
