Ubisoft has just announced the official name of Rainbow Six Siege‘s Year 7 Season 2, and it is going to be called “Operation Vector Glare”.

The announcement came from the official Siege Twitter page, and Ubisoft has confirmed that the full reveal of the Y7S2 Operation Vector Glare will take place during the last of the Six Charlotte Major, which begins on May 16th.

If you have already noticed, Ubisoft is once again naming Siege’s new season by the “Operation” title, which was removed since Year 6 started. Even, the first season of Year 7 was titled ‘Y7S1 Demon Veil’, without any Operation tag, so there might or might not be more meaning to this change.

As of now, Ubisoft has not shared any information about the new operator. But, from the Year 7 roadmap, we know that a new Belgium operator is set to be introduced. Alongside this, players will be finally getting a shooting range, TDM map, Phase 1 of the Reputation system, and more.

Ubisoft has also been teasing a new squad separate from Team Rainbow and Nighthaven, called Wolfguard. More information will be revealed during the Six Charlottle Major, so make sure to tune in live at twitch.tv/rainbow6 on May 22nd.
