League of Legends is bringing back one of its softest and most charming skin lines, and this time, Ivern is joining the Rain Shepherd collection. Riot has already confirmed Rain Shepherd Ivern as one of the skins arriving during the current season, putting the Green Father right in the middle of a theme that fits him almost perfectly.

Based on the concept image, Rain Shepherd Ivern leans hard into a dreamy garden after-the-rain look. Instead of the usual mystical forest guardian style, this version of Ivern looks gentler and more whimsical, almost like he walked out of a storybook built around spring showers, ponds, and tiny woodland creatures.
His body is styled with flowing cloud and water shapes, while the outfit uses bright leafy greens, soft blues, and warm flower accents. The large lily pad hat immediately stands out and gives the skin a playful silhouette. His limbs look like streams of water and clouds wrapped around plant life, which makes the whole design feel light and breezy rather than heavy or ancient.
The image also suggests a strong frog pond theme. There are little critters floating around him, including squirrel-inspired companions with frog-like rain gear, and the ability concepts keep pushing that same idea. His Q appears to be a curling burst of water, his W plants look like wetland flowers and reeds, and Daisy transforms into a mossy, cloud-covered stone guardian with a rainbow arching over her back. Altogether, Rain Shepherd Ivern looks less like a standard fantasy skin and more like a peaceful rainy day turned into a champion.
Rain Shepherd Ivern price
Riot has not yet posted a dedicated store page for Rain Shepherd Ivern, so the final RP price has not been officially listed at the time of writing. Still, the Rain Shepherd skin line has so far followed the Epic tier model.
Rain Shepherd Fizz and Rain Shepherd Milio both launched at 1350 RP, and later Rain Shepherd Gwen was also listed at 1350 RP on skin tracking sites and spotlight coverage. Because of that, Rain Shepherd Ivern is widely expected to cost 1350 RP as well unless Riot announces otherwise.
Rain Shepherd Ivern release date
Riot has officially named Rain Shepherd Ivern as one of the skins coming in the current season. In that same update, Riot also said Season 2 content will go live with patch 26.9, and Riot’s 2026 patch schedule lists patch 26.9 for April 29, 2026. That means Rain Shepherd Ivern is expected to release around April 29, 2026, unless Riot changes the rollout closer to launch.
As always with League cosmetics, the skin should appear on PBE first before fully hitting live servers. SkinSpotlights has already teased an in-game look at Rain Shepherd Ivern, which usually happens during that preview window before launch.
