Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has no connection with the previous entries of the series, as the game is a standalone game with a different timeline.

As a Prince of Persia fan myself, I was pretty excited to know about the Prince’s story this game would present when it was first announced. However, for the first time in the franchise, the Lost Crown’s protagonist is not the prince but a member of the Immortal, Saigon. Although the Prince is present in the game, he plays more like a side character in the main story.

The game’s plot follows Prince Ghassan being kidnapped and held in Mount Qaf and the seven members of the Immortals are tasked to bring the Prince back. The game’s story presents Sargon journey across the mountains, overcoming the obstacles, and finally rescuing the Prince.
