With the year coming to a close, Riot has revealed the Roadmap for TFT in 2024.

Remix Rumble has been out for a little over a month. Since its release, the music-themed set has grown in popularity among the player base. The set brought tons of new and exciting content to the game. It also revamped some of the old mechanics, such as the Portals and Aguments. Overall, it’s an excellent set that has breathed fresh life into the game.

That said, Remix Rumble will be one of TFT’s shorter sets. Unlike the previous sets, Remix Rumble will not have a mid-set update. But it’s not all doom and gloom, as Riot has announced that they will focus on creating brand new sets rather than creating mid-set updates.

In a recent Dev Blog, Riot shared their reason for moving away from mid-sets. They also gave us a roadmap of what we can expect in the future. According to the 2024 Roadmap, we will be getting new sets, events, and tons of other stuff.

Teamfight Tactics 2024 Roadmap

2024 is looking to be a big year for Teamfight Tactics. Starting off the year, we will be seeing the return of an old TFT set. Riot did not specify which set it will be, but it will most likely be Set 1 or 2 with some new mechanics.

Coming in March of 2024, Riot will introduce set 11 of Teamfight Tactics, nicknamed “An Encounter with Myths & Legends.” Judging by its name, we can expect the set to be inspired by Eastern and Western mythology. Or it could be based on ancient Runeterra; Who knows?

It’s hard to believe Teamfight Tactics has been around for five years and is still going strong. To celebrate such a milestone, Riot will be hosting an anniversary event next summer. The event will be coming with a brand-new game mode.

After the summer event, Riot will be bringing us the next TFT set, called “Magic, mayhem, and…bees?” The main focus of this set seems to be magic and …bees? In Q3 of 2024, we will have another Set Revival, and finally, in Q4, set 13.

Overall, It’s looking like a packed year for Teamfight Tactics.
