Persona 4 Golden is the definitive edition of Persona 4, which is the fourth mainline entry in Atlus’s hit Persona franchise. The story follows our Hero (Yu Narukami), who has to stay with his uncle in the rural town of Inaba for a year due to his parents going overseas for work.

There, he enrolls in Yasogami High School to complete his second year of high school. As the new transfer student that also happens to be a city boy, many students and teachers will have their eyes on you.
Having said that, a series of strange murders start happening across town right around the time of your visit. And your Uncle, who works as a police detective in Yasoinaba Police Force, is put in charge of investigating those murders.
During this one-year stay, you will find yourself having to maintain your daily school life alongside rescuing people from the TV world to avoid raising any suspicions from your Detective uncle. And what other way to convince your uncle that you’re focused on your studies and staying out of trouble than to perform well at school?
But that’s not the only benefit of being an attentive student. Like with every other Persona game, Persona 4 Golden also has five core Social Stats for you to develop. Getting every classroom answer right and answering all the answers correctly in exams will raise your Knowledge stat.
Moreover, a signature feature of Persona games is its Social Links system. Like with every other Persona game, you can form meaningful bonds with various characters in Persona 4 Golden. And some of these Social Links require you to have a high enough Knowledge to form contracts with them.
Furthermore, by performing well in exams, your peers at school will look up to you even more, deepening your bond with them. But that’s not all, because Uncle Dojima will reward you handsomely for getting good grades. So, performing well in school has that financial incentive as well.
Since Persona games compel you to micro-manage your time, answering answers correctly at school is the fastest way of raising your Knowledge. That’s why we have prepared this guide so that you can flawlessly answer every question in class and in exams.
