Fix Client Requested Disconnect Error in Overwatch 2

Different things can cause Client Requested Disconnect Error. But it is always related to the network and server connection. On the launch day, this problem was prevalent because of the DDoS attacks. But now things have calmed down, so it is not as frequent. But if the error shows up, here are the steps you can take to fix it:

  1. If you face this problem for the first time, try rebooting/restarting the game. It can often fix this problem.
  2. If rebooting doesn’t help, check whether your internet connection is stable. Sometimes background download or upload can take up bandwidth to cause this error.
  3. If everything is stable on your side, check on google if the Blizzard servers are down or not. If the servers are down, then it will cause this error. You just have to wait out the downtime to log into the game.

These are all the fixing you can do. But if it still doesn’t fix your problem, you can always contact Blizzard support and make a help ticket to fix your problem.
