Turrets, Nexus, and Inhibitors are getting a new visual update in the upcoming patch.
One of the biggest changes Riot made to the game at the start of Season 15 was the introduction of Seasonal Themes. Riot made it so each year would be divided into three seasons with each having a different theme. These themes determined the champions, skins, battle passes, and even maps for the season season.
The theme for Season One of 2025 was Noxus. As per the theme, Riot released Noxus-themed skins and battle passes. Riot also released a new map skin for the game which came with new models for Nexus, Turrets, and Inhibitor.
The new Noxus-themed map was the first major map update after the wither-themed map and apart from the overly reddish hue, which was toned down later, players loved the map.
So, players will be very happy to learn that there’s yet another map update on the way. Riot has announced that they are working on a map update that will arrive soon.

Map Visual Update
The map update is arriving at League of Legends in Patch 25.06, which is scheduled for March 19, 2025. The update will arrive with new models for Nexus, Turrets, & Inhibitors. With that said, let’s take a look at the new map changes.
The new structures seem to be inspired by LeBlanc’s organization “Black Rose”, with the Nexus clearly looking like a rose. There are also thornes sprouting out of these structures. However, the biggest changes seem to be the Turrets. Turrets now look like a magic tower rather than the previous tower cannons.
Speaking of LeBlanc, she is getting her VGU soon. It should arrive in the PBE servers for testing in a couple of days and should arrive on live servers on Patch 25.06.
