New Tales from the Borderlands has a fun minigame where you take part in battles using action figures/figurines. Called Vaultlander battles, you use Vaultlander figures of different stats to fight and win against your opponents. They are figures of popular characters from the Borderlands franchise. How To Get All Vaultlander Figures in New Tales From The Borderlands
There are 20 Vaultlander figures to collect. Sixteen of them can be found playing the game, while the other four have to be collected through other means, such as pre-ordering. Collecting the main ones also requires some effort within the game. However, if you collect the 16 main ones, you unlock the Not Dolls. Action Figures! Achievement/trophy.
You cannot purchase them with any in-game currencies; furthermore, you must have a keen eye as many of them are scattered around you, blending in with the surroundings. Additionally, for some Vaultlander figures, you must win it by battling against the Badass Superfans.
Vaultlanders notifications and messages indicating that a Vaultlander figure is nearby are what you should be aware of. When they appear, it means there is a figure around you somewhere. So explore carefully, especially rubbles, and find what you’re looking for.

1. Phuong
This figure is unmissable. Phuong will give you the Phuong Vaultlander figure when escaping from the ship as a token of luck.
2. Claptrap
When playing as Octavio, you should first talk to Paco and help him find his friend. As a reward, he gives you a Vaultlander find. Use it to find the Claptrap Vaultlander figure hidden within a heap of garbage across Paco’s truck.
Or you can skip helping Paco and directly head to the trash spot. Don’t interact with the radio before this, or you’ll miss this one.
3. Amara
Playing as Fran in Chapter 3, when you’re in Fran’s Frogurt, inspect the rubble opposite the music box to find the Amara figure.

4. Zane
This is also unmissable.
While trying to sneak past the guards, he catches you, turns out to be a Badass Superfan, and challenges you in a Vaultlander battle. Defeating him earns you the Zane figure.

5. Vasquez
When you get to play as Anu in Chapter 2, look for a fridge in the storage room of Fran’s Frogurt while looking for gun parts. A Badass Superfan is hiding inside the refrigerator. He’ll challenge you to a Vaultlander battle with Vasquez Vaultlander figure as the reward.
6. Roland
The Roland figure is also acquired similarly. As Anu, find and open the cold locker in the morgue your exploring to find a Badass Superfan. Win the Vaultlander battle and win the Roland figure.

7. Maya
While exploring the lab as Anu in Chapter 4, head upstairs to enter a room with a large desk and computer. The Maya figure is placed on the desk beside the computer.
8. Mordecai
Interact with the cash register in the fake Fran’s Frogurt to find the Mordecai Vaultlander figure when playing as Fran.
9. Brick
After getting Mordecai, head towards the car trunk attached to the shop’s walls near the storage room doors. Open the trunk to find a Badass Superfan. Defeat him in a Vaultlander duel and win the Brick figure.
10. Moze
While looking for L0U13 as Fran, a Badass Superfan appears and challenges you in a Vaultlander battle. Win the duel and earn the Moze Vaultlander figure.

11. Handsome Jack
During Chapter 4 as, Octavio, in Susan Coldwell’s office, go up the stairs and towards the left of the desk. The figure is standing on a red ‘X’ mark. Interact with it, and a Badass Superfan falls from the ceiling and challenges to a Vaultlander duel. Win to get the Handsome Jack Vaultlander figure.
12. Krieg
In Chapter 4, when you, as Octavio, Fran, and L0U13, find Anu lying on the surgical table, a Stapleface pretending to be a Tediore soldier confronts you. Select the choice to tackle Stapleface. She gives you the Krieg Vaultlander figure as a sign of friendship.

13. Lilith
Complete the game with the relationship between Anu and Octavio being 50% or more. The one you’ll get most likely in the first playthrough.
14. Fiona
Complete the game with the relationship between Anu and Fran being 50% or more.
15. Ellie
Complete the game with the relationship between Octavio and Fran being 50% or more.
16. Zer0
Complete the game with a 75% or higher Skateboard score.
These 16 Vaultlander figures in New Tales from the Borderlands can be acquired through the game. The rest 4 depends on the various giveaway, codes, and bonuses. Additionally, if you followed this guide till now, you would unlock both the “Not Dolls.
