There are a lot of new characters joining in the roster of Genshin Impact while the standard wish banner remains the same, until now!
Rumors surrounding the latest characters in the Genshin Impact Community is that we will soon get a new 5-star character in the Standard Wish banner.
And it is high time that Hoyoverse introduced new characters in the standard pull considering the last addition to the standard banner was Dehya all the way back to Sumeru. There was no update during the entirety of the 4. patches but all of this will change soon. And in this article, I will discuss everything we know regarding the Standard banner updates.
Who is the New Standard Banner Character in Genshin Impact?
The character joining the Standard banner will be Kimitsuki Ayano, a female character who is rumored to join the main cast in the 5.4 patch of Genshin Impact. You can learn more about her from this article on the Upcoming Characters in Genshin Impact in 5.3 to 5.4.
Ayano will be a hailing from Inazuma, making her the first character from that region to join the Standard banner pull. As these are still rumors and possible leaks, we don’t know whether she would join directly to the standard banner pull or will get her own banner.
But if past patterns from Hoyoverse is any indication then we will get her banner first and afterwards, she will join the standard banner. The same happened to Tighnari and Dehya both of which joined the standard pull after their initial banner.
When Will We Get the New Standard Banner Character in Genshin Impact?
According to the leaks, Ayano will be in the first phase of Genshin Impact version 5.4 which means we will get her in the standard wish from the 2nd phase. Well, technically she will be available to get from the beginning of 5.4 but she will be a possible character after a 50-50 loss in the 2nd phase of 5.4.
