Upcoming Characters in Genshin Impact 5.3
1st Phase
Mavuika
The first character to be introduced in the 5.3 patch is none other than Mavuika. The pyro archon has been the most anticipated character and she will join the roster at the beginning of 5.3. This news is confirmed by Hoyoverse themselves. While they didn’t specify whether she is coming at the 1st phase or 2nd phase. Leakers claim she will be in the first phase.
She will be an extremely powerful DPS and Sub-DPS especially if you have support characters llke Bennet and Furina. Her burst not requiring any ER and motorcycle traverse mechanic is sure to grab your attention.
Citlali
Following Mavuika in the first phase is Citlali. While this is indeed a surprise to see her in the first phase but her coming had been leaked a long time ago. Considering how she is a key player in the Natlan storyline it seems the perfect time for her to rerun.

2nd Phase
Arlecchino
Hoyoverse seems to pressure players more with pairing Arlecchino with Mavuika as she will get her first rerun on the 2nd phase of Genshin Impact 5.3. She is without any doubt the strongest Pyro DPS and arguably one of the strongest DPS in the game. With the unique bond of life mechanics and accessible teams, Arlecchino can be one of the best addition to your party.
Clorinde
Keeping up with the bond of life mechanics, Clorinde will also get her first rerun in 5.3 alongside Arlecchino. If you are looking and extremely strong and unique electro DPS focused on quicken and aggravate DPS then she is the go to option.
Upcoming Characters in Genshin Impact 5.4
Kimitsuki Ayano
If the rumors to be belived, we are getting a new Inzuma character in 5.4. She is said to be an electro 5 star who has ties with the Kamisato clan.
Furina
With all the recent archon release patterns, Furina seems to be the next in line. Her rerun also makes sense as she will be a great support for Mavuika. But she is not only good for Mavuika but also for any other characters in the game as long as they don’t focus on Physical DMG.
Xianyun
Xiyanyun will get her first rerun in 5.4, hopefully with Shenhe by her side. She can make any character a plunge DPS and offers a team wide healing and traversal abilities. This makes her a solid choice especially if you have Xiao or want to play Gaming as DPS!
Shenhe
It has already been over a year and half since we last got Shenhe’s banner. But according to leaks, she will finally get a rerun. With both Cloud Retainer and Madame Ping coming in version 5.4 I think it makes sense for her to return.
