According to rumors, South Korea is set to hold its first MSI ever

A new report has come out from DotEsports’ reporter, BloopGG, that MSI 2022 is set to be held in South Korea. This is the first time South Korea will be the host of an MSI tournament along with the first tournament in a while for the country. The exact venues and cities in question are yet to be announced.

South Korea is notorious for its strict restrictions due to COVID-19, so it will be an interesting juggling act to get the tournament together and get all the teams in place. If it does happen, it is a monumental day for South Korea to host their first MSI and a major region finally hosts an international tournament in a while since the pandemic started.

Thus, it’s big news that’s come out and it will be a joyous moment for fans and players to finally be in LoL Park for the event after a really long time. The tournament is likely to be held at the end of April or the beginning of May and will host 12 teams from all the different regions. Let’s hope this does happen and we get to witness a great MSI tournament coming soon.
