MSI 2022 Rumble Stage and Knockouts Stage
The Rumble Stage will feature six teams in one group. These six teams will qualify from their respective groups with two teams coming from each group. Similar to the Groups Stage, the Rumble stage will be a double round-robin consisting of best of one games between the teams in the group. From there, the top 4 teams will qualify for the Knockouts Stage. The Rumble Stage will start from May 20th to May 24th.
The Knockouts Stage will feature a knockout format with two Semi-Finals and a Finals matchup. That will be held from May 27th to May 29th. That will be the conclusion of MSI 2022.
In Conclusion
The format is very similar to last year and Riot decided to run it back as it worked last year. Thus, there will unlikely be any format changes so we should expect a good international tournament. MSI 2022 is set to start on May 10th, 2022.
