Zhongli, the Geo Archon, has emerged as the most popular character in this Spiral Abyss, with a pick rate of over 85%. The Geo Archon from Liyue had a resurgence after Floor 12 on this Spiral Abyss had the new elite boss Hydro Tulpa, and some other enemies, which required Geo characters to break the shields.

Hydro Tulpa’s attacks could potentially one-hit your characters, which is why you need a shield character for this Abyss, and there is no other character who can provide a stronger shield than Zhongli.
