KV Broadside Shotgun is the newest Shotgun joining the weapon pool of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. Here’s how to unlock it in Season 2.
Infinity Ward has been crushing it with content drops spread across multiple live service titles like Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2. To help with player retention, the developers try to spice things up with each new update by releasing new maps, and weapons, balancing changes, etc.
The Call of Duty community is always excited about new weapon releases. And to everyone’s surprise, Infinity Ward is adding a new weapon to MW2 and Warzone 2.0’s weapon pool. A new KV Broadside Shotgun will arrive on Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 with the Season 2 update.
The new Shotgun is an addition to the Kastovia platform. The Shotgun features rapid-fire features, making it the first auto shotgun of this game. It will be interesting to see how players utilize an auto-shotgun in the current meta of Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2.

How to Unlock KV Broadside Shotgun
Bringing the power of the 12 gauge to the Kastov Platform, the KV Broadside is the fastest-firing semi-auto firearm in the shotgun class. It destroys targets at close range with impunity.
In Multiplayer (MW2):
- Complete Sector B4 of the Season 2 Battle Pass.
In Warzone 2.0:
- Complete Sector B4 of the Season 2 Battle Pass.
The fastest way to unlock battle pass sectors is by earning battle pass tokens. Battle pass tokens are provided to players based on the time spent in-game. After collecting an adequate number of Battle pass tokens, players can use them to make their way up to the desired Sector in no time.
KV Broadside Shotgun Release Date
According to Infinity Ward, the new Shotgun will be available in-game for players, with the Season 2 update coming out on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 9 AM PT/12 PM ET/4 pm UK.
