ISO 45 is the newest SMG joining the weapon pool of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. Here’s how to unlock it in Season 4.
Infinity Ward has been crushing it with content drops spread across multiple live service titles like Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2. To help with player retention, the developers try to spice things up with each new update by releasing new maps, weapons, balance changes, and more.
The Call of Duty community is always excited about new weapon releases. And to everyone’s surprise, Infinity Ward is adding another new weapon to MW2 and Warzone 2.0’s weapon pool. A new ISO 45 SMG will arrive on Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 with the Season 4 update.
A throwback to Modern Warfare (2019), the ISO 45 functions similarly to the old ISO, known for its lightweight design and decent fire rate for short- to midrange engagements. Its higher-caliber rounds make it a heavy-hitter compared to its fast-firing counterparts but require the player to get those shots on target.

ISO 45 SMG Release Date
According to Infinity Ward, the ISO 45 SMG will be available in-game for players, with the Season 4 update coming out on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 9 AM PT/12 PM ET/4 pm UK.
