Players have discovered an absurd game-breaking movement in MW2 and Warzone 2. Here’s how you can do it in-game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s movement has transitioned back to classical movement mechanics. Although sliding is still in the game, IW has removed slide-canceling completely, which has removed the whole movement advantage from the picture.

However, many players have gone ahead and discovered new game-breaking movement mechanics. Just like that, an MW2 player has found the most absurd movement mechanic that makes the players impossible to hit in most gunfights. The new mechanic called G-walk is the weirdest movement mechanic in any CoD titles to this date.

How to G-Walk in MW2 and Warzone 2

Euphoria Dream discovered the G-walk; the user posted a clip on Twitter showing his player model moving around in a weird shifting stance. The enemy perspective showed the player model change stance after each dive, making the opponents miss their shots. Players who can master G-walk are necessarily immortal in most situations.

Here’s how to G-walk on PC:

  1. Open Modern Warfare 2 and head to Settings.
  2. Click on Keyboard and Mouse Settings and head over to Gameplay.
  3. Select Automatic Sprint and turn it Off.
  4. Turn Single Tap Sprint on in Tactical Sprint Behavior.
  5. Head over to the Keybinds tab.
  6. Then Bind prone to Scroll Wheel Down.
  7. Now switch between the sprint button and Scroll wheel down to start G-walking in-game.

Unfortunately, G-walk is limited to keyboard players currently. Controller players can use special software to assign macros and do the G-walk in-game. However, it is recommended that you don’t use macros in Warzone 2 and MW2, as RICOCHET may identify the macros as cheating in-game.
