Genshin players recently found a new bug that allowed characters to have 48% attack buff active all the time. Mihoyo was quick about it and has since fixed it.
The “Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers” is a 3* Catalyst weapon in Genshin Impact. Genshin players primarily ignore 3* weapons, but this particular catalyst has a unique ability that makes it stand out. The buff the Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers provides is as follows-
“When switching characters, the new character taking the field has their ATK increased by 24/30/36/42/48% for 10s. This effect can only occur once every 20s.”
The buff is based on the number of refinements the catalyst has. But being a 3* weapon, players find it very easy to refine the weapon to the max refinement rank. Some Genshin players recently found a bug with the “Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers” and the new alternate outfits that let them have 48% attack buff active all the time.

The buff was first seen on the Chinese video-sharing website Billibilli. When Mona or Barbara had the “Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers” and you changed their outfits, the attack buff would stay active on characters permanently.

Mihoyo immediately took action after this bug became known widely and fixed it. But this permanent attack buff was pretty interesting, to say the least.
