All Post Game Unlockables
New Game+
After you complete Metaphor: ReFantazio for the first time, you’ll be able to replay all main and side quests from the beginning. in New Game+. All of your progress will carry over, including Money, MAG, Items, Equipment, Archetype Progression, Royal Virtues, and even your playtime.
It’s a fun way to play through the story again, with your character and party already very powerful.
Moreover, it will allow you to Max all Bond Ranks, and complete any side content you might have missed.
Regicide Difficulty
Completing the game also unlocks a more challenging difficulty than Hard difficulty, called Regicide. In this mode, enemies will deal triple the damage when hitting your weaknesses, and you’ll also get fewer rewards after each encounter.
Redscale Apocalypse Dragon
Lastly, you’ll also unlock a secret and very challenging boss, the Redscale Apocalypse Dragon, after completing the game. To challenge the Redscale Dragon, go to the Akademia and examine the Book of Revelations.
You can fight this Superboss in every difficulty except Storyteller. For a true challenge, try taking it on in Regicide difficulty.
