Every Archetype in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
From the developers of the Persona Series, Metaphor: ReFantazio is a highly stylized JRPG focusing on character relationships and dungeon crawling in a fantasy world.
Its gameplay mixes turn-based combat with real-time action, offering a fresh take on the genre.
Archetypes make up the class system of Metaphor: ReFantazio and are similar to the Persona system of the Persona series. Your party members can freely swap between archetypes, and each archetype can be levelled up to learn new abilities and skills, making them stronger.
Each Archetype has a distinct role, whether it be offense, defense, or support. Knowing which Archetypes suit a mission and having party members with multiple archetypes mastered is key to combat strategy, especially due to the wide variety of enemies populating the dungeons of Metaphor: ReFantazio.
In this article, we look at each Archetype, what role they fill in combat, and how you can unlock their Advanced Archetypes to make them even more powerful.
