Help the Deku Tree
For this process, you will need to get through the Lost Woods first and reach the Korok Forest. Once you reach the forest, you will find the Great Deku Tree. Interact with the tree, and he will tell you the inconveniences he is facing. Now head inside the tree and drop to the Deku Tree Chasm. Here you will find some Gloom spawns. Defeat all the Gloom spawns using bomb flowers.
Defeating the Glooms will make a Phantom Ganon spawn. Fight with the Phantom Canon, but make sure you have plenty of supplies to replenish your health. After defeating the Phantom Ganon successfully, head back to the Korok Forest. As a token of appreciation, the Deku Tree will start the Recovering the Hero’s Sword quest for you, which will mark the Light Dragon on your map. Now track the Light Dragon and obtain the Master Sword.
Climb the Light Dragon
While roaming around Hyrule, you will often see the Light Dragon roaming around your head. The Light Dragon can be identified from afar by spotting the flaming blue aura from its head. This dragon does not fly too high, making it easier for you to climb it.
If you manage to find one Light Dragon roaming above your head, fast-travel to any of the nearby Skyview Towers to launch yourself in the air and land on the dragon. Although, you can also use your own creativity to find your own way to get on top of the dragon.
Once you get on top of the dragon, you will find the Master Sword dug into its head. However, Link will need two bars of natural stamina to take the sword. Any stamina obtained through stamina-boosting meals will not work in this case.
