Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a turn-based action game that utilizes a card-based combat system. The game is developed by Fraxis, who are known for their XCOM games. This game also has similar mechanics to the studio’s XCOM titles. But this time, you can choose three of thirteen characters and build your own superhero team.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns also have a few difficulty options. You will still be playing on Story or Normal difficulty settings for a new player. Difficulty Settings in Marvel’s Midnight Suns
There are Eight different difficulty settings in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. You have your standard Story and Normal difficulty. Then you have a difficulty called Heroic. Heroic also has Three different sub-sections called I, II, and III. Then finally, you have another difficulty called Ultimate. And again, Ultimate has three sub-sections: I, II, and III.

Damage and HP Changes
If you want a more challenging difficulty, you can just ramp it up by 1 level. But if you want to know what each difficulty settings changes, this section is for you. Here is the breakdown of all changes in each difficulty settings in Marvel’s Midnight Suns:

Revive Changes
These are the main changes for each difficulty setting, taking Normal as a base value. But there are some other changes in the different difficulties too. In Stroy settings, you will get unlimited Revives. While in Normal to Ultimate II, you will get only One revive per level. But in Ultimate III, you will not get any revives for the characters.
XP and Gloss Changes
In higher difficulty, you will gain more Hero XP and Gloss. Here is a chart detailing all the extra XP and Gloss you can earn while playing on the higher difficulty.

Reinforcements Change in Marvel’s Midnight Suns
Enemies will not call for any reinforcement while you are playing on a lower difficulty. This is true for almost all difficulty levels. But starting from Ultimate I, enemies will begin to call for extra reinforcements. So if you are playing on any of the Ultimate difficulties, you better be prepared to fight extra enemies compared to any of the previous difficulty levels.
