The LPL Spring 2022 Season has finally ended as the Playoffs begin tomorrow with BLG vs RA.

We have finally reached the end of the LPL Spring 2022 season as RNG beat OMG today just an hour ago or so. With that said, we can finally watch the LPL Spring 2022 Playoffs in their full glory. The playoffs for the LPL have always been a volatile bracket as we have seen plenty of memorable best of fives throughout the years. This time it’s no different as a bunch of great teams has made the plays and there could be 6-7 reasonable contenders for the trophy this year.

Let’s talk about how the playoffs bracket ended up and some first thoughts on it.

The Playoff Bracket

As the game concluded today we finally have the full standings and the playoff bracket. It is as follows:

The same tweet has the timings of the games as well. The times are given in CET so make sure to check what time it is for all the fans to watch the game.

With RNG winning today, V5 and RNG are getting the double-elimination confirmed as they are the top 2 seeds. Meanwhile, LNG and JDG are one step away from that, and WBG and TES are right behind them. For BLG, RA, EDG, and FPX, they have to run the entire bracket to potentially win the playoffs. All in all, this is a very good bracket that has given us some great games and gauntlet runs in the past.

Our First Thoughts And Conclusion

The first thing that jumps out for us is the bottom half of the bracket. That is one of the most stacked brackets we probably have seen in recent times. There are potentially four LPL Playoffs winners in that bracket and only 2 can be in the double-elimination part of it. WBG, EDG, and JDG will be fighting for that one remaining spot as RNG occupy the other one.

There is no room for error in the LPL playoffs and this is where we get teams that are battle-tested for international playoff tournaments. The top side of the bracket also has TES, LNG, and V5, where either could win it all. However, LNG is not really trustworthy despite what their record suggests. This is going to be a fun number of playoff series to watch.

LPL Playoffs begin tomorrow as BLG vs RA kicks off followed by EDG vs FPX on the day after. That rounds out Round 1 of the LPL Spring 2022 Playoffs
