Riot has revealed the upcoming Jax skin, PROJECT Jax, which is coming out on patch 14.5.

While it’s barely been two months since the launch of League of Legends season 14, we have gotten many new and returning skin lines.

Firstly, we got new skins like Primal Ambush and Heavenscale, and from the returning side, we got Porcelain and Dragonmancers. Another returning skin line Riot has announced recently is the PROJECT skin line.

PROJECT is one of the most popular skin lines in League of Legends. In this universe, champions are overhauled as cyborgs. This skin line was originally made in 2014. At the time, we got PROJECT Yasuo. Afterward, we got many other skins, like PROJECT: Yi, PROJECT: Fiora, PROJECT: Leona, PROJECT: Lucian, and PROJECT: Zed, which enhanced the universe.

With that said Riot will be releasing the newest iteration of the PROJECT skin line in the next patch. And one of these champions that will have this skin is Jax.

Jax is one of the oldest champions in the game. However, recently, he got both a gameplay rework and a visual overhaul. These updates made Jax more powerful, and the visual update put him on par with the newest champions.

Since Jax’s visual rework, he hasn’t gotten any new skin. And the first skin he is getting is the PROJECT Jax. At first glance, it looks like a weaker version of Empyrean Jax. Overall, the sounds are amazing. The VFX, at most points, is also top-notch. But the issue with this skin is that it is unrecognizable. Additionally, the skins like Empyrean also do the job really well. Even so, PROJECT is still a fantastic skin that is worth it if you look into it.
