Riot will be reworking Duskblade of Draktharr in the upcoming mid-season patch.
Start of every year, Riot does a massive preseason update in League of Legends. Many experimental features and changes are added to the game in that period. Moreover, during the preseason time, ranks are also not saved. So players can test out all of the changes without any downsides.
Other than preseason, Riot also does massive changes during mid-season as well. These changes could range from unimplemented additions from the preseason or massive fixes to problems after the preseason.
Last season we received the most significant mid-season update, the durability rework. In that patch, Riot not only increased the base health of all champions but also tweaked other stats to accommodate the change. This update was a massive success as it fixed a lot of problems with the meta.
This year, we will receive even bigger change than the prior mid-season. Earlier this week, Riot released a dev log detailing a lot of new content coming to the game. In that video, they revealed that a huge itemization change was coming.
This itemization change included changes to almost every item in the game. One of the items that will be receiving massive change is the Duskblade of Draktharr.
